Marg and Wally usually had a project on the go or were planning the next one and had many travel adventures together. Gardening, planting flowers, and planting trees at the family tree farm were all full-time passions of Marg's. Marg was a teacher for 37.5 years and loved every bit of teaching and guiding children on their educational journeys, starting out in a one room schoolhouse in Saskatchewan, and spending most of her career teaching the elementary grades before retiring from Caledonia Park School in Leduc in 2000. She grew up in the Humboldt, Saskatchewan area and after getting her teachers certificate, she took a job in Northern Saskatchewan where she met Wally and knew immediately that she met the love of her life. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Walter Burak in 2012.
